We’re Dutch PE teachers, with a combined 25+ years experience in PE. We once shared a Dropbox-folder with each other, but while the number of documents grew, we couldn’t find a proper way to search them quickly. Since then, we’ve started Gymspiratie, for Dutch PE teachers. Since Gymspiratie became so popular, we decided to share our games with our international colleagues too….so PhysEd Club was born!
We’re constantly working on adding new games and making improvements to our site, this way we’ll make it as user-friendly as possible for you as the P.E. teacher.
After graduating from the HALO (The Hague Academy of Physical Education) in 2008, Gijs spent many years as a P.E. teacher at a primary school in The Hague. In that time he also set up his web design agency, Grijs Design. He has combined these two worlds in making PhysEdClub.
For PhysEd Club he develops the website and is involved with the PR.
Anouk also graduated at the HALO and gave PE classes at a primary school in The Hague. Currently, she is co-owner of the company Dutch for Kids.
Anouk helps with developing P.E. games for PhsyEd Club.
Since his graduation in 2007 at the HALO, Hans has been working at several Dutch schools as a P.E teacher and team leader. In the school year of 2007-2008 he worked at a primary school, after this year, he started working at Secondary School.

Arends’ biggest quality is building stuff you thought were impossible to build. He’s our technical brain and helps PhysEd Club stay awesome!
